Mischa Hutchinson

Mischa (they/them) offers a non-judgemental and accepting space to address life’s difficulties. They have experience working with a range of psychological concerns including anxiety, depression, OCD and emotional dysregulation.
Mischa's Professional interests include:
• LGBTQIAP+ mental health and supporting LGBTQIAP+ individuals navigate the unique experiences of this community.
• Exploring the impact of gender, sexual identity, and race on mental health
• Helping individuals shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving, such as critical self-talk, perfectionism, procrastination, and cycles of burnout.
In their practice, Mischa utilises Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Mischa believes that therapy should be a collaborative process, guided by each client’s unique goals, needs, and strengths. From the beginning of therapy, and throughout each session, Mischa works with their clients to deeply understand your experiences and identify how these evidence-based approaches can be most beneficial.
