Meagan is a registered psychologist completing her endorsement in educational and developmental psychology. She is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults who have lived through trauma and helping them process and heal from their experiences. Meagan prides herself in creating a safe and judgement-free therapy space where clients who are neurodivergent, culturally diverse, and/or members of the LGBTQIAP+ community feel respected, valued, and heard.
Meagan sees herself as a guide who is there to walk alongside a client, helping them to make connections and come to understand their own life story. She believes that every person knows themselves best, therefore her role in therapy is to promote curiosity and self-compassion as clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. A large focus of Meagan’s work is in helping clients to manage intrusive thoughts and challenge negative schemas that are causing feelings of distress, shame, and guilt. She believes in helping people reclaim their narrative and supporting them to feel empowered in who they are, what they stand for, and what they have to offer to the world.
Outside of work, Meagan is a big metal fan who loves nerding out with her DnD group on the weekend, and spending time with her mischievous cat, Lilith.
