Kate Langtry

Kate is a warm, down-to-earth psychologist who supports children, adolescents, and adults to navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and care. She takes a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy, prioritising safety, trust, and genuine connection. Kate understands that reaching out for support can feel daunting, and she works to make therapy a space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered.
Kate has experience supporting individuals with anxiety and stress, depression and low mood, emotional regulation, self-esteem and identity, body image, and life transitions. She also works with people experiencing suicidal thoughts or self-harm, as well as parents navigating their own or their child’s mental health or neurodivergence. Her therapeutic work draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, allowing therapy to be tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Kate offers individual therapy and ADHD, autism, educational, and cognitive assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
Alongside her clinical work, Kate is a Mental Health Lived Experience Advisor at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where she collaborates on service design and resources for young people and families.
