Jane is a qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 12 years experience working therapeutically with adolescents, adults and couples facing issues ranging from mild anxiety or relationship difficulties to survivors of trauma and high-risk crisis intervention.
Jane completed an undergraduate in Teaching followed a by a Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy and has worked in a range of clinical settings including Government, forensic and non-profit environments. Jane has a strong ability to connect with each client in a genuine and meaningful way to facilitate positive growth.
Jane is a LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodiverse affirming therapist and engages each client with warmth and acceptance.
Many of Jane’s clients have experienced issues with family and domestic violence, addiction and substance related issues and mood disturbance. She values and welcomes each client’s individual experience and tailors her therapeutic approach to provide a personal and meaningful encounter.
Jane works from a client-centred, trauma-informed stance ,integrating therapeutic interventions from evidence-based treatments including, Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
