Cait's approach is holistic and relational, grounded in the healing nature of the therapeutic relationship and the sense of agency and freedom it can bring. Cait recognises that feeling well and maintaining good wellbeing can often be difficult, knowing that speaking with a professional — sharing in your story and your struggle — can help.

Cait aims to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their internal world and process vulnerable feelings. This may include reflecting on emotional patterns in earlier experiences and relationships, with the goal of helping clients gain insight into the challenges they face today. Cait seeks to nurture clients toward a more authentic self, where they feel less alone in the messy business of being human. Cait primarily draws from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In particular, Cait enjoys supporting clients in longer term work, helping with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, life adjustments, interpersonal struggles, trauma, ones relationship with oneself, identity and self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ issues, and disordered eating including ones relationship with food and body. Cait has a special interest in working with queer women
